Dr. Basavaraj R. Patil
Dr. B. R. Patil (MBBS, MS, FAMSI, FRCS – Glasgow) is a highly respected Cancer Specialist and Healthcare Leader, serving as the Chairman and Director of Dr. R. B. Patil Multispecialty Hospital, Hubballi. A Padma Shri Awardee, he is also the Chief Surgical Oncologist at KCTRI, with over 22 years of experience in advanced cancer care.
He completed his MBBS from Karnataka University, Dharwad, MS in Surgery from Mysore University, and Surgical Oncology training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Dr. Patil has gained international exposure as a Visiting Consultant at Royal Marsden Hospital, London, Nippon Dental University, Japan, and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan.
Renowned for his expertise in Head and Neck Cancer, Dr. Patil has successfully performed 5,000+ cancer surgeries and conducted multiple national and international workshops in surgical oncology.
